Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Darling Christian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ralph Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Christian closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Christian lands in his opponent's guard.
Diaz is looking to stand up but Christian isn't so interested in that idea.
Christian wants to stand but Diaz has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Diaz wants to stand up but Christian is controlling him.

Christian trying to control the position from guard on top but Diaz is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Christian is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Christian stands up over Diaz, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Darling Christian.
Diaz swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Diaz keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Diaz lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Christian crumples to the floor! Diaz milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!
