Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ewan Ridgeback!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Skip Squint and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mack displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Ridgeback throws out the jab.
Ridgeback fails to land with a series of punches.
Ridgeback throws a right and a left that Mack avoids nicely.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Mack.
A big right from Ridgeback misses.
Ridgeback lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Ridgeback will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Ridgeback misses with a jab, cross combination.
Mack has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Ridgeback finds it's way round the side to connect with Mack's head.
Mack slips a jab and a cross from Ridgeback.
A punch combination from Ridgeback misses.
Mack fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Mack shoots in but Ridgeback avoids the takedown attempt easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dane Mack. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ridgeback tests Mack's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Ridgeback fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Mack looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Mack closes the distance and clinches up with Ridgeback, looking for a takedown. Mack pushes Ridgeback against the cage but Ridgeback circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Mack scores with a takedown into Ridgeback's guard.
Mack makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Mack throwing strikes from guard but Ridgeback blocks nicely.
Mack pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Ridgeback is keeping the position for now.

Mack won't allow Ridgeback to sweep him here.
Ridgeback is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Mack throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Ridgeback works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Mack looking to sit in guard and control but Ridgeback gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Mack has his foot on Ridgeback's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Ridgeback works his way back into a safe position though.
Ridgeback wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Mack's closed guard. He's half up but Mack has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Mack pivots and extends the arm, Ridgeback falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Mack! Well done that man!
