The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Safin instigates a clinch.
Safin has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. szarafin avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Safin jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as szarafin walks away with a smile on his face. Safin gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
szarafin tries to move into range but Safin moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Safin uses good head movement to avoid the hook from szarafin.
Safin shoots in for a double leg but szarafin sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Safin rushes szarafin and presses him up against the cage.
