The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
ER throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
ER misses the jab.
A left lands for ER.

It looks like Demian Blockhead has been cut.
Decent striking displayed by ER there.
Blockhead cracks ER with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
ER uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Blockhead slips a straight right by ER.
No joy there for ER, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Blockhead takes a swing at ER's ribcage but misses.
A slow jab from ER misses its intended target.
ER waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Blockhead.
ER throws a hook to the side of Blockhead's head but Blockhead sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Blockhead ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
ER missing with a left hand there. Blockhead was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
ER needs to keep his hands up - Blockhead had a free shot at his head there.
Blockhead keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
ER misses with a hook to the body
and Blockhead counters with a straight right hand.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Blockhead moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
ER looks gassed!
ER throws a left and a right that both miss

and Blockhead counters by clinching up.
Blockhead lands a hook that snaps the head of ER backwards.

A left hand lands to the body for Blockhead.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Blockhead creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

B ER is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Blockhead jabs ER to the body, keeping him at a distance.

Blockhead scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Blockhead ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Blockhead is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
A lazy left from Blockhead finds it's target.
Blockhead fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. ER looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Blockhead uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before ER has time to react.
Blockhead connects with a jab.
ER has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from ER there as he acknowledges the shot.
Blockhead lands a lovely overhand right.

Blockhead bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Blockhead cracks ER with a big right hand but ER just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
ER is still in real trouble! Can Blockhead finish him?
