The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Uaz digs a good hook to Xander's body.
Uaz cracks a nice hook into Xander's ribs.
Uaz throws a left that rocks Xander and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Uaz dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Xander regain composure!

Xander is rocked!

It looks like Alex Xander has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Uaz stands up and beckons Xander to his feet.
Xander is still on wobbly legs! Can Uaz finish him?
Igor Uaz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Xander shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Uaz pinned against the cage. Uaz gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Uaz misses with a series of wild punches.
Xander seems to have recovered his senses.
Uaz bobbing and weaving well here. And he's unloaded with a massive right hand that drops Xander! He dives into his guard looking to finish!

Xander throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Xander tries to strike from the bottom.
Uaz has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Xander is proving hard to escape from.
Xander not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Uaz not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Uaz stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Uaz throws a head kick but Xander moves out of range.

Uaz avoids a punch combination nicely.
Uaz cracks Xander with an open hand slap.
Uaz lands a right hook to the body.
Uaz tries to bum rush Xander with a series of wild strikes but Xander uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Xander bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Uaz wants to get back to his feet.

Uaz gets back to half guard.

Uaz pushes Xander off and gets back to his feet.
Nice combo by Uaz! Oh, that's hurt him - Xander falls to the canvas and Uaz follows him into side control.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Uaz decides to stand back up. Uaz steps back and let's Xander get back to his feet.
Uaz stuffs the takedown.
Uaz lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Xander falls backwards - clearly groggy! Uaz dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
