Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tyr Asgaard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yoo Suk Kang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tyr Asgaard has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Yoo Suk Kang!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Tarja Halkonen and Arvi Lind.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Asgaard throws an overhand right that lands on Kang's shoulder, as Kang tries to avoid the shot.
Kang ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Asgaard will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Asgaard avoids the body shot from Kang.
Asgaard leaves Kang with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Kang throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Asgaard tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Kang is in Asgaard's guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Asgaard is on top in guard.

Asgaard has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Asgaard passes to full mount!

Asgaard has hold of Kang's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Kang manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kang takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Kang is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Asgaard seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Kang is holding on tight.

Asgaard looking for a guillotine from mount but Kang is having none of it.

Kang is wriggling around trying to escape.
Asgaard is looking to work his way around to Kang's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Asgaard uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Kang has time to react.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Kang enables Asgaard to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Kang manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Yoo Suk Kang comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Asgaard has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
