Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dionisio Andrade (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aaron Andrews (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dionisio Andrade!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Aaron Andrews!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Johanna Lukiainen and Matti Vanhoillinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Andrews closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Andrews throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Andrews is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Andrade throws a series of punches but Andrews moves out of range.
Andrews changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Andrade tries to avoid it but Andrews manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Andrade to the ground. Andrade escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Andrews shoots in for a double leg but Andrade sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Andrade throws a series of punches but Andrews moves out of range.
Andrade throws a right and a left that both miss.
Andrade just misses with a punch to the body.

Andrews drives through with a takedown into guard.
Andrade is looking to stand up but Andrews isn't so interested in that idea.
Andrews throwing strikes but missing.
Andrade wants to stand but Andrews is controlling the position.
Andrews throws a big right hand that misses.
Andrews prevents Andrade from getting back to his feet.
Andrews cracks Andrade with a solid left hand.
Andrews thows a big elbow that misses.
Andrade is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Andrews is controlling him.

Andrade lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Andrews circles away quickly and effectively.
A looping hook to the body misses from Andrews. Andrade does a little dance to reset his feet.

Andrews feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Andrews wants to control from the top but Andrade keeps moving.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Andrews accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Andrade utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Andrade is looking to stand up but Andrews isn't so interested in that idea.
Andrews is pushing down on Andrade's leg trying to pass to half guard. Andrade is fighting to maintain full guard but Andrews has managed to sneak the leg through.

Andrews is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Andrade has managed to free his arm - good work.
Andrews thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Andrade's head.
Andrews is trying to control the action in half guard but Andrade is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Andrews wants to pass to mount but Andrade is defending the position.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Andrews is trying to control. Andrade wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Andrews sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Andrade defending well though.
Andrews works his way into side control.

Andrews sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Andrade is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

Andrews tries for a kimura but Andrade is defending well.
Andrade takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.

Andrews thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Andrews fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Andrews tries to advance to mount but Andrade denies him.
Andrews is looking to take a break and control but Andrade is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Andrews is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Andrews tries to score with some ground and pound. Andrade controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Andrews tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Andrews has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Andrews trying to control the position but Andrade is working away.

Andrews wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Andrade, who protects the arm well.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Andrews is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Andrade is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Andrade wants to get back to his feet but Andrews drags him back down.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Aaron Andrews dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Andrews ducks under a wild hook from Andrade.
Andrade connects with a solid leg kick.
Andrade throws a head kick but Andrews moves out of range.
Andrews misses with a body shot.
Andrews slips a straight right by Andrade.
Andrade sizes up Andrews with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Andrade looks to land a combination but Andrews avoids it well.
Andrews closes this distance looking for a takedown but Andrade circles away.

Andrews shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Andrade's guard.
Andrews wants to control from the top but Andrade keeps moving.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Andrews tries to free his leg and advance position but Andrade is retaining full guard.
Andrews trying to control the position from guard on top but Andrade is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Andrade is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Andrews passes into half guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Andrews is keen to just control but Andrade is a slippery customer.

Andrews landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Andrews works his foot free and advances to mount.
Andrews has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Andrews has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Andrade's face.

Andrews wants to finish this one by submission but Andrade is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Andrews.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Andrade tries to buck Andrews off but he can't manage it.
Andrade is squirming around, avoiding Andrews's attempts to control the action.
Andrade is really trying hard to get back to his feet.

Andrews lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Andrews cracks Andrade with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Andrews throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Andrade has his hands clasped together but Andrews breaks the hold and Andrade is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Andrews!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:53 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Aaron Andrews!
