The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ardonito with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Ardonito avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Kenny Powers seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nice takedown defense from Ardonito. No joy for Powers on that attempt.
Powers tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Ardonito manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Powers closes the distance and clinches up with Ardonito, looking for a takedown. Powers pushes Ardonito against the cage but Ardonito circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Ardonito lands an overhand right.
Ardonito fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Powers has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Ardonito lands a head kick. Powers smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Ardonito lands a brutal head kick. Powers looks out on his feet and Ardonito throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
