Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, DJ Jackson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Michael Scofield!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Ian Loll and Alec Ball.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scofield fails in his attempt to clinch.
Scofield shoots in for a takedown but Jackson shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Scofield dives in and grabs Jackson's left leg, looking for a takedown. Jackson pushes down on Scofield's head and hops out.

Jackson lands a big right hand that sends Scofield crashing to the mat! Jackson stays standing though and waves Scofield back to his feet!


It looks like Michael Scofield has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Scofield shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jackson but Jackson pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Scofield looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Scofield fails with a takedown attempt.
Jackson keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Scofield is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Jackson's half guard.

Scofield is looking for a kimura but Jackson is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Scofield to get the leverage.

Jackson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Scofield on the ground.
Scofield is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Scofield sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Let's hope that Scofield has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Jackson sends Scofield crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Jackson is motioning to the referee to let Scofield up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
DJ Jackson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Jackson feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Scofield crashing to the mat! This one is all over!
