The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Defoe lands a slapping body shot.
Defoe fakes high and swings low for a body shot but McCriux manages to avoid it.
McCriux takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Defoe wants to slow McCriux down by chopping away at his legs.
Defoe displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
McCriux misses with an uppercut. Defoe saw that one coming.
Defoe avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Defoe scores with a nice strike.
McCriux tries to clinch there but Defoe circles away.

Defoe cracks McCriux with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Defoe throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Defoe throws a chopping leg kick but McCriux manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
McCriux fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Defoe checks it well.
Defoe fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. McCriux looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
McCriux looks gassed!
A head kick misses from McCriux.
Defoe throws a monster overhand right that drops McCriux! Defoe follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
