Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Teemu Maijanen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Weichanthal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maijanen comes to the cage accompanied by Underwood - Gagarin . Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Weichanthal tries to clinch but Maijanen moves out of range.

Weichanthal tries to close the distance and clinch but Maijanen swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Weichanthal is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Weichanthal is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Maijanen is defending well for now.
Weichanthal has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Maijanen is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Maijanen is trying to push Weichanthal away but Weichanthal has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Weichanthal throws a knee to the head but misses.

Maijanen's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Maijanen is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Weichanthal defends well.

Maijanen working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Weichanthal doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Weichanthal manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Maijanen looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Weichanthal is defending well. Maijanen quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Weichanthal has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Maijanen celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
