Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Shefki Kuqi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mauricio Ricardo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ricardo is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Here Comes. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Mauricio Ricardo!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Sam Margolis and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kuqi displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Ricardo.
Kuqi slaps away a takedown attempt from Ricardo, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Ricardo shoots in for a double leg but Kuqi sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Shefki Kuqi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mauricio Ricardo.
Ricardo tries for a takedown but Kuqi sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Kuqi lands a jab to the nose.
Kuqi stalks Ricardo and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Ricardo's face. Ricardo staggers backwards, shaken.
Kuqi defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Ricardo.
Ricardo looks gassed!
Ricardo is trying hard to land a takedown here. Kuqi sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Kuqi moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Ricardo shoots in looking for a takedown. Kuqi tries to sprawl out of it but Ricardo keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kuqi manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Kuqi lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Kuqi tries to land a front kick but Ricardo steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Kuqi jabs Ricardo to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Ricardo drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Kuqi throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Ricardo stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Kuqi cracks the inside of Ricardo's front leg.
A right-left combo lands from Kuqi.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kuqi scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Ricardo doesn't seem bothered though.
Shefki Kuqi is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
The fighters circle momentarily. Kuqi darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Ricardo moves out of range of the body kick from Kuqi.
Left hook, right uppercut from Kuqi.
Ricardo is rocked!
Kuqi connects with a right that clearly hurt Ricardo. He's backed up against the cage with nowhere to go as Kuqi proceeds to tee off with vicious combinations till Ricardo collapses and taps out under the pressure!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Shefki Kuqi!
