The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tito gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Tito has hold of one of Specialist's legs. Specialist is fighting the takedown attempt but Tito gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Specialist is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Specialist is trying to control the position but Tito postures up.

Tito sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Specialist's guard.

Tito fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Specialist looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Tito tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

and Tito counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Specialist's guard now.

Tito stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Tito lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Tito lands a jab.
Tito throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Specialist tries to clinch up
and Tito counters with a left and a right that stings Specialist.
Specialist misses the jab.
Specialist tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Tito counters with a nice uppercut.

Specialist blocks a head kick by Tito.
Tito moves out of range as Specialist strikes.
Tito lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Specialist doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Tito counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Tito lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.

Specialist shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Tito napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Tito is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Specialist off and has taken his back!
Specialist covering up well under a series of strikes from Tito.
Specialist breaks Tito's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Tito pulls Specialist in close to prevent any damage.
Specialist throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Tito works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Tito manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Specialist manages to get himself to full guard.

Tito stands up from Specialist's guard - Tito perhaps looking for a knockout.

Tito cracks Specialist with a right hand to the side of the head.
Specialist missing with a left hand there. Tito was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Tito slips a jab from Specialist.
Specialist shoots and misses
and Tito counters with a one-two to the body.

Tito throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Tito lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Specialist backs up against the cage.

Tito scores with a one two! Specialist had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

and Tito counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Tito fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Specialist throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Tito counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Tito circles away from the clinch attempt

and Tito counters with a shoot takedown. Specialist fights it but they end up in guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Tito wants to pass the guard but Specialist is keeping the position.
Tito wants to get up but he can't break Specialist's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Specialist tries to roll over but Tito keeps him under control.

Tito has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Specialist is proving hard to escape from.

Specialist has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Tito should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Specialist has tightened it up now! Tito should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
