Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jeet Kun Do (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boris Travos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Do comes to the cage accompanied by Mama Said Knock You Out. Travos is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Korn - Blind. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jeet Kun Do!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Boris Travos!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Daniel Blasius and Radbod Blank.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Do looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Do swings for the body but Travos moves out of range.
Travos looks to clinch

and Do counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Do.
Do pressing his opponent against the cage.
Do with a knee to the head.
Travos blocks an elbow strike.
Do is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Do stops a takedown attempt from Travos.
Travos lands a shoulder strike.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Do just misses with a elbow thrown towards Travos's brow.

Travos decides to pull guard.
Do is looking to stand up but Travos won't let him.
Travos looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Travos looking for a sweep. Not yet Travos, not yet.
Travos keeping moving, preventing Do from controlling successfully.
Do wants to pass the guard but Travos is keeping the position.

Travos has his hands on Do's head, controlling the position.
Do has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Travos is proving hard to escape from.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Do throws a nice looking combination but Travos bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Travos displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Do throws out the jab.
Travos misses with a body shot.
Do tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Travos shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Do counters with a one-two to the body.

Travos avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Travos closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Travos working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Do is breathing heavily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Travos looks up at the clock and then as Do takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Travos smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Travos is looking to take a break and control but Do is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Travos has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Travos in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
Do is not content to let Travos control the position.
Do is trying to buck Travos off.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Travos in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Travos landing a few strikes.
Travos happy to just control the position for now.
Do tries to buck Travos off but Travos is having none of it.
Travos scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Do to see if he's OK.
Travos is staying tight to Do's torso, preventing him from escaping.
Travos has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Do!
Do tries to reverse the position but Travos maintains control.

Travos lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Travos scoring with strikes but Do is staying in there.
Travos looking to control and managing it successfully.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Travos looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Travos is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Travos is controlling the pace.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Boris Travos.
Travos thows a body shot but no joy.

Travos lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Do down.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Do takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Travos is looking to take a break and control but Do is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Travos cracks Do with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Travos in side control, just content to control the action for now.
Do wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

Travos is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Do will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Travos's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Boris Travos.

Do tries to keep at a distance but Travos has taken the fight into the clinch.
Do is pressed up against the cage. Travos has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Do down to the mat. Do avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Do is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Travos is keeping busy.
Travos tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Do just stands there and leans against the cage.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Do creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.

Travos looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Boris Travos showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!



Travos has managed to clinch.
Travos blocks an elbow strike.
With the fighters up against the cage, Do throws an elbow but misses.
Do prevents a takedown attempt there.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Do gets underhooks to prevent Travos's takedown attempt.
Do with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Travos can't get the takedown.
Jeet Kun Do has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Boris Travos.
Do lands an elbow inside that Travos shrugs off.
Travos tries to pull guard but Do won't allow it.

Travos pulls guard.
Do pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Travos is keeping the position for now.
Travos has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Travos looking for a sweep. Not yet Travos, not yet.
Travos pulls Do in close to prevent any damage.
Travos lands a decent punch to the body there.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Do drops back looking for a leg! Travos is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Travos manages to kick Do off! Do jumps back into Travos's guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Travos preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Travos is pulling down on Do's head to control his posture.
Do has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Boris Travos.
Travos tries to score a power double leg takedown but Do sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Travos somewhat.
Travos changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Do tries to avoid it but Travos manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Do to the ground. Do escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Do will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Do circles away from the clinch attempt.
Do defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Travos.
Jeet Kun Do has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Travos tries to score a power double leg takedown but Do sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Travos somewhat.
Do keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Travos will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
A shot to the liver by Do. Beautiful body shot.
Do thumps Travos with a low kick.
Jeet Kun Do is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Do turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Do darts in and clinches Travos up against the cage.
Do throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Travos fails to pull guard.

Do misses with an elbow strike.
Do throws a knee to the head but misses.
Do stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Travos drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Do looking to slow down the pace here.
Do can't seem to implement his control oriented gameplan at the moment. That's no bad thing of course, for those of us who want to see a good fight.

Travos jumps guard and drags Do to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Do is fighting to break Travos's control of his arms but Travos is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Do stopping the sweep attempt from Travos.
