Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Aang Havatar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Flavio Panday!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Yukihiro Shimada and Yasuomi Hirokawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Panday fails with an attempt to clinch.
Panday tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Havatar paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Havatar feints and as Panday raises his hands in defense, Havatar changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Havatar scoring with some ground and pound.
Havatar stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Panday swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Havatar with a flurry of punches that miss.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Havatar accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Havatar sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Panday's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Panday is trying to escape back to his feet but Havatar uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Havatar has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Havatar is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Panday's shoulder. That is not cool.
Havatar fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Panday avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Havatar.

Panday is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Havatar is controlling him well.

Havatar connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Panday some visible discomfort.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Panday really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Havatar. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Panday takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Havatar throwing shots but missing, from side control.
Havatar sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Panday is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

Havatar postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Havatar is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Panday has escaped the position, nice work there.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Panday is rocked!
Havatar sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Panday is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Aang Havatar dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Havatar tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Panday was well out of range. Poor timing from Havatar.
Panday misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Havatar throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Havatar wants to land a leg kick but Panday is out of range.

Panday gets tackled into the cage by Havatar. Havatar maintains the clinch.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.

Havatar decides to pull guard.
Havatar lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Panday!
Aang Havatar overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Havatar landing punches.
Panday is still in real trouble! Can Havatar finish him?
Havatar unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Panday wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Havatar celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:04 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Aang Havatar!
