The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hansson stalks Swade and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Swade's face. Swade staggers backwards, shaken.
Swade misses with a series of wild punches.
Hansson swats away the attempt to clinch by Swade.
The fight stays on the outside here - Swade looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Swade throws a looping overhand right but Hansson ducks down to avoid it.

Hansson lands a left and a right that sends Swade crashing to the canvas! Hansson dives into mount looking to finish!

It looks like Randy Swade has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Swade is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Hansson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Hansson cracks Swade with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Hansson tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Swade wants to control but Hansson is having none of it.
The referee warns Swade that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Hansson lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Hansson is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Swade has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Swade!

Swade moves in looking to clinch but Hansson pushes him off.
Swade doesn't manage to clinch there - Hansson circles away.
Hansson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Hansson takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

It looks like Hasse Hansson has been cut.

Swade tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Hansson manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Swade wants to clinch up but Hansson keeps it at a distance.
Swade throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Hansson takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Hansson is rocked!
Swade ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Hansson's jaw. Hansson's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Swade does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.
