Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dwayne Carter Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Don Pogan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carter Jr comes to the cage accompanied by Rise Inside by Killswitch Engage. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carter Jr fails with an attempt to clinch.

Carter Jr shoots in looking for a takedown. Pogan tries to sprawl out of it but Carter Jr keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Pogan manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Carter Jr is on top in guard.

Pogan really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Carter Jr. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Pogan can do anything to dispel that myth.
