PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Paul Lesnar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Eisel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lesnar comes to the cage accompanied by Wanted Dead Or Alive. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Paul Lesnar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Mark Eisel!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Paul Tew and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lesnar fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Eisel avoids it really well and circles away.
Eisel defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Lesnar.
Lesnar misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Paul Lesnar. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lesnar shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Eisel as he avoids it easily.
Lesnar looks for a takedown but Eisel sprawls well.
Lesnar shoots in for a takedown but Eisel shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Eisel tries to clinch but Lesnar is having none of it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Horrible takedown by Lesnar or perhaps it was just good defense by Eisel which made him look bad.

Eisel tries to land a knee to the head but Lesnar blocks with his arms.
Eisel drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Lesnar gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Lesnar is looking for a sweep. Eisel is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Lesnar might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Well Eisel has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
