The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Heathen tries to bum rush Edwards with a series of wild strikes but Edwards uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Heathen closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Heathen lands in his opponent's guard.
Heathen with a flurry of punches that miss.

Edwards wriggles free and stands up.
Heathen throws a jab but it's blocked by Edwards.
Edwards scores with a shot to the body.

Oooooh!!! Edwards has knocked Heathen down with a huge combo! Edwards steps away and waves a wobbly Heathen back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

It looks like Jimmy Heathen has been cut.
Heathen is breathing heavily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Edwards avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Edwards grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Heathen takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Edwards cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
