Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Javaris Jackson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ramon Silva!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Chris Downing and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson moves out of range as Silva throws a body kick.

Jackson shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Silva napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Silva manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Silva stops Jackson from getting back to his feet.
Jackson is refusing to be controlled, as Silva sits in half guard.
Silva passes to side control.

Silva looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Jackson can't do much from the bottom here.
Silva trying to control the position but Jackson is working away.
Silva might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Jackson kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Jackson on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Jackson tries to get out of the position.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Silva working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Silva is trying to get an arm triangle but Jackson is defending well.

Silva thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jackson struggling a bit here.
Jackson is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Silva tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Silva wants to control but Jackson is keeping him busy.
Jackson is trying to control Silva's posture but Silva avoids it.

Silva thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Silva has an Americana. Jackson didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Silva is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Silva hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
