Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ylusses Tramp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Friemal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jason Friemal acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Alan Glass and Gwen Towbar.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Friemal shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Tramp but Tramp pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Friemal looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Tramp scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Tramp decides to stand up.
Tramp misses with a hook.
Tramp shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Jason Friemal seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tramp throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Tramp fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Tramp closes the distance and clinches up with Friemal, looking for a takedown. Tramp pushes Friemal against the cage but Friemal circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Tramp fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Friemal, pushing him back against the cage.

Tramp has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Friemal is trying to keep an underhook but Tramp manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Tramp looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Tramp lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Tramp has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Tramp seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Friemal does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Tramp wants to take a breather but Friemal is having none of it.
Friemal has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Tramp is working away from the top position though.
Tramp wants to pass to mount but Friemal is defending the position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Friemal closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Tramp is trying to maintain the position but Friemal is very close to passing his half guard.
Friemal is tying to control. Tramp wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Friemal stalling away here and it's allowed Tramp to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
Tramp lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Friemal!

Friemal is trapped and Tramp is scoring with shots to the head and body.

Tramp has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Friemal has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Tramp has the hooks in. Friemal is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.

Tramp lands a shot to the head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Friemal is defending well here and trying to improve his position.

Tramp is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Friemal defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
Friemal is taking damage to the body and head.
Friemal is trapped and Tramp is scoring with shots to the head and body.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Friemal manages to reverse the position and now he's in Tramp's guard. Nice work there by Friemal.

Tramp has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Friemal off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Tramp tries to close the distance and clinch up but Friemal swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Tramp has had enough of the clinch but Friemal keeps him there for the moment.

Friemal has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Tramp avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Tramp is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Friemal is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Tramp gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Tramp works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Tramp stands and throws Friemal's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Tramp cracks Friemal with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Friemal tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Tramp wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Friemal really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tramp. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Tramp in side control, just content to control the action for now.

Tramp wants to control but Friemal is keeping him busy.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Tramp wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Friemal, who protects the arm well.
Friemal manages to work his way to half guard, despite Tramp's best efforts.
Friemal is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Tramp takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Friemal wants to control but Tramp is keeping busy.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Friemal is looking to improve his position.
Tramp works his way into side control.

Tramp has hold of Friemal's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Friemal seems comfortable defending it but Tramp has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Friemal is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Friemal is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Tramp couldn't care less - he's delighted!
