Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Horgorth Whoa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kong Xu Fang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Whoa comes into the arena with emsiferum-token of time blaring out of the sound system. Horgorth Whoa is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fang pushes Whoa up against the cage in a clinch.
Whoa looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Whoa tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Whoa fails to pull guard.
Whoa struggles to land a body shot inside as Fang controls his hands.

Fang escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Whoa closes the distance and clinches.
Fang goes for a takedown in the clinch but Whoa prevents it.

Fang pulls Whoa into guard.
Whoa stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Fang swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Fang had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Whoa defends it easily.
Whoa looking to pass the guard.
Fang is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Fang pulls Whoa in close to prevent any damage.
Fang really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Whoa. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Fang closes the distance and clinches.
Fang's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Fang gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Whoa regains guard.
Fang is stalling in the full guard.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Fang's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Fang stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Whoa swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Fang seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Whoa keeping moving, preventing Fang from controlling successfully.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Whoa controls Fang momentarily but Fang frees himself.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Fang connects with a looping right hand.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Fang closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Whoa to the mat! Whoa manages to get full guard.
Whoa is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Whoa is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Fang is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Fang trying to stand up but can't free himself from Whoa's guard.
Fang wants to control from the top but Whoa keeps moving.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

and Whoa counters with a single leg into guard. Fang didn't expect that.
Whoa won't allow Fang to sweep him here.
Whoa is fighting to break Fang's control of his arms but Fang is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Fang utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Whoa looking to sit in guard and control but Fang gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Whoa stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Whoa wants it to stay on the feet.

Whoa throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Fang trying to keep a closed guard but Whoa is proving a slippery customer.
Fang is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Whoa shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Fang as he jumps to the side.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Whoa enables Fang to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Whoa manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Whoa fails with the takedown
and Fang counters with a big head kick but Whoa shrugs it off.

Fang rushes Whoa and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Fang lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Whoa backwards.

Fang breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Fang shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Whoa napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Whoa tries to escape but Fang is in control.
Fang is looking to take a break and control but Whoa is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Fang decides to stand back up. Fang steps back and let's Whoa get back to his feet.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Whoa wants to take a breather but Fang is having none of it.
Whoa is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Whoa connects with a nice short shot to Fang's temple.

and Whoa cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Horgorth Whoa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Fang makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Whoa takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
