Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lourd Cenia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mieyoy Lopez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Lourd Cenia!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Yves DeLean and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lopez moves into the clinch.
Cenia is looking for a takedown up against the ropes. Lopez gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Cenia wants a takedown but no success here.
Cenia goes for a takedown in the clinch but Lopez prevents it.

Lopez works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Cenia wants to stand up but Lopez is controlling him.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Mieyoy Lopez has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Cenia misses with a takedown attempt - Lopez sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

and Lopez counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Lopez.
Cenia is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Cenia is breathing heavily.
Lopez controls from within his opponent's guard.
Lopez wants to pass the guard but Cenia is keeping the position.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Cenia doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Lopez holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Lopez successfully pulls guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Lopez has his foot on Cenia's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Cenia works his way back into a safe position though.

Lopez is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Cenia defends well.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Mieyoy Lopez wasn't active enough on the ground.

Cenia tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Lopez just stands there and leans against the ropes.

Lopez gets control of Cenia's arms and successfully pulls guard. Lopez will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Cenia accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Cenia postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Lopez is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Cenia, into his guard.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Lopez closes the distance and clinches.
Cenia is working for a takedown up against the ropes. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Lopez is stalling here.
Lopez is trying to trip Cenia. He has hold of a leg but Cenia is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Lopez persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Lopez is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Lopez fails with a takedown attempt.
Lopez darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Lopez not doing much here.
Lopez seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Cenia does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Cenia wants to improve his position but Lopez is controlling well.

Lopez content to control rather than advance.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Lopez thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Cenia wants to get back to full guard.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Mieyoy Lopez was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Lopez shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Cenia manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Lopez has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Cenia is proving hard to escape from.

Lopez stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Cenia swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Cenia manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Lopez has left one of his arms exposed and Cenia doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Lopez screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
