Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Paris Rozario (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cole Trickle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trickle misses with a jab, cross combination.
Rozario defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Trickle.

Rozario is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Trickle shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Trickle tries to clinch up but Rozario circles away and keeps his distance.

Rozario's corner calls for a 1-2. Rozario obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Trickle shoots in looking for a takedown. Rozario tries to sprawl out of it but Trickle keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Rozario manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Paris Rozario has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cole Trickle.

Trickle closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Rozario did well to prevent Trickle getting side control.

Rozario suckers Trickle into throwing a sloppy strike and uses the momentum to reverse the position beautifully! Rozario is now in Trickle's guard!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Trickle is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Trickle isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Rozario stacks Trickle on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Rozario!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Rozario wants to free his trapped foot but Trickle is holding on for dear life with his legs.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Trickle moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Trickle has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Rozario is working away from the top position though.

That was a close round but I would say that Paris Rozario will probably get the nod.

Trickle tries to score a power double leg takedown but Rozario sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Trickle somewhat.

Trickle moves in looking to clinch but Rozario pushes him off.

No joy there for Trickle, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Trickle tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Rozario smiles and moves away.

Trickle tries to move into range but Rozario moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Rozario lands a nice elbow.
Trickle tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Trickle jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Rozario walks away with a smile on his face. Trickle gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Rozario is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Trickle is defending well for now.

A nice glancing elbow lands by Rozario.
Rozario throws a knee to the head but misses.
Trickle jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Rozario walks away with a smile on his face. Trickle gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

and Rozario counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

and Rozario makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
