The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dixon looks to score with a jab to the body but Jarecki is just out of range.

Dixon throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Jarecki stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Jarecki is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Dixon is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Dixon has escaped and now he's on top!

Dixon looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Jarecki has picked Dixon up and slammed him! Dixon can't keep hold of the triangle and Jarecki manages to pass to side control!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Jarecki shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Dixon is trying to defend but Jarecki finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
