Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Steve Smith and Ian Loll.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dube misses with a series of wild punches.
Dube drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Dube throws out a leg kick but Grunt moves out of range and Dube only half commits.
A slow jab from Dube misses its intended target.
Dube throws a right and a left that Grunt avoids nicely.
A telegraphed right hand from Dube misses the target.
Dube misses with a two punch combination.
Dube will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Grunt connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Dube clobbers Grunt with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Dube.
Dube tries to bum rush Grunt with a series of wild strikes but Grunt uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Grunt throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Dube was covering up waiting for the punch and Grunt finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Dube wants to get back to his feet but Grunt is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Grunt stands and throws Dube's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Dube on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Dube tries to get out of the position.
Dube is pushing Grunt's head away, looking to escape. Grunt manages to hold on to the position though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Grunt has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Dube is working to avoid the ground and pound but Grunt connects with a decent elbow.

Grunt postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Dube managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Grunt.

Grunt is trying to get an arm triangle but Dube is defending well.
Dube takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.

Dube takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

Dube throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
The fighters circle momentarily. Dube darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Grunt closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Grunt misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Michael Dube.
