Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nyyrikki Kaiho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Teuvo Loman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Loman is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Teuvo Loman - Helsinki City Boy. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Loman displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Kaiho throws out the jab.
Loman checks a low kick from Kaiho.
Kaiho stuffs the takedown.
Kaiho pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Kaiho swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Loman throws out a loose jab but Kaiho uses good head movement to avoid it.

Loman decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Loman has hold of Kaiho's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Kaiho manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Loman goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Kaiho turns into him and now he's in Loman's guard.

Kaiho got a little sloppy there for a moment and Loman has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kaiho has managed to get both his arms back between Loman's legs - danger averted.
Loman bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Kaiho's guard.
Loman wants to pass the guard but Kaiho is keeping the position.

Loman postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Kaiho is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Loman, into his guard.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Kaiho avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kaiho won't allow Loman to sweep him here.

Loman working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kaiho doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kaiho manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Loman has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kaiho can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Kaiho throws a hook but Loman blocks it.

Kaiho connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Loman closes the distance and clinches up with Kaiho, looking for a takedown. Loman pushes Kaiho against the cage but Kaiho circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Kaiho doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

and Loman decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Kaiho's guard.

Loman stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kaiho swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Loman has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Loman drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Kaiho dives on top into guard.

Kaiho takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
The fighters are battling for position here. Loman manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Kaiho is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Loman has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Kaiho is looking to defend but Loman has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Kaiho! Loman pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Kaiho taps out and this one is all over!
