The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Brute moves away.
Brute throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Brute lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Brute takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Brute shoots in looking for a takedown. Lee tries to sprawl out of it but Brute keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Lee manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Brute takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Brute doesn't manage to clinch there - Lee circles away.
Lee misses with a hook.
Brute misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Lee.
Lee throws a hook but Brute blocks it.
Brute throws a jab when Lee was well out of range.
Ryan Brute seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Brute misses with a shot to the body
letting Lee counter with a right hand.
Lee takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Lee just misses with a punch to the body.

Lee throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Brute tries to clinch up.
Brute moves out of range of the strikes.
Brute swings for the body but Lee moves out of range.
Lee moves away from the strike by Brute.
Lee misses with a telegraphed body shot

and Brute counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

Brute is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Lee has managed to free his arm - good work.
Brute passes the guard and advances to mount!

Brute moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Lee has worked his arm free - good work by Lee!

Brute is trying to get an arm triangle but Lee is defending well.
Lee is not content to let Brute control the position.

Brute is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Lee is trying to escape and Brute transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Lee is forced to tap! Nice work there by Brute! Very nice indeed!
