Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Matej Asanovic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Edward Ludczynsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Matej Asanovic!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Edward Ludczynsky!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Radbod Blank and Paulsen Ambrosius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Asanovic lands a head shot.
Asanovic tries to clinch up but Ludczynsky circles away and keeps his distance.
Asanovic fails with a takedown attempt.
The fight stays on the outside here - Asanovic looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Ludczynsky has his takedown stuffed
and Asanovic makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ludczynsky shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Asanovic as he avoids it easily.
Ludczynsky shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Asanovic sprawls well. Asanovic wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Ludczynsky gets slowly back to his feet.

Asanovic manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Ludczynsky manages to get himself to full guard.

Ludczynsky isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Asanovic stacks Ludczynsky on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Asanovic!

Asanovic is pressed up against the cage. Ludczynsky has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Asanovic down to the mat. Asanovic avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Asanovic throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Ludczynsky tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Asanovic is in Ludczynsky's guard.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Matej Asanovic.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Matej Asanovic just wasn't active enough.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Ludczynsky seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Asanovic does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Ludczynsky lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Ludczynsky looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Asanovic is fending him off so far but Ludczynsky persists. Nope, Asanovic circles away and we're back to standing.

Asanovic tries to bum rush Ludczynsky with a series of wild strikes but Ludczynsky uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

and Ludczynsky counters with a shoot takedown. Asanovic fights it but they end up in guard.

Ludczynsky throws a strike but Asanovic rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Asanovic is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Ludczynsky is aware though and is defending well.

Ludczynsky stands and throws Asanovic's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Ludczynsky tries to move into full mount but can't pass Asanovic's legs.
You can see the frustration on Asanovic's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Asanovic manages to work his way to half guard, despite Ludczynsky's best efforts.
Ludczynsky wants to free his trapped foot but Asanovic is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Ludczynsky is trying to control the action in half guard but Asanovic is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Ludczynsky might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Asanovic kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Ludczynsky is thwarting Asanovic's attempts to control the position.
Asanovic holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Ludczynsky looks up at the clock and then as Asanovic takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Ludczynsky smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Matej Asanovic has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Edward Ludczynsky is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Asanovic throws Ludczynsky to one side and escapes!

Edward Ludczynsky comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Ludczynsky winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
