Payne kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Bruddah Iz ~ E Ala E . The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Payne shoots for a double leg takedown but O Reily sprawls well. He's pushed Payne's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Payne steps to the side to avoid the strikes from O Reily.
O Reily throws out a loose jab but Payne uses good head movement to avoid it.
O Reily lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
O Reily misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Payne shoots in for a takedown but O Reily shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Payne shoots in but O Reily avoids the takedown attempt easily.

O Reily throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

O Reily throws a series of punches but Payne avoids them all with ease.

Payne has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

O Reily really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Payne. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

O Reily has left one of his arms exposed and Payne doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. O Reily screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
