The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marconi tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Nebraska swivels and escapes.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Marconi.
Marconi moves out of range as Nebraska throws a body kick.
Nebraska misses with a low kick as Marconi jumps back.
Marconi shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Nebraska but Nebraska pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Nebraska tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Marconi wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Marconi working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Nebraska really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Marconi. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Marconi swings around for an armbar but Nebraska sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Marconi's guard.

Marconi quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Nebraska has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast!
