Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Solomon Venris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and chris ownage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
ownage swats away the attempt to clinch by Venris.
ownage tries a head kick but it misses.
Venris tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

ownage looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Venris is fending him off so far but ownage persists. Nope, Venris circles away and we're back to standing.
ownage closes the distance and pushes Venris back into the cage.
Venris pushes off an throws an elbow but ownage leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

ownage misses with a wild body shot.
ownage circles away from the clinch attempt
and ownage counters with a nice double leg into side control. Venris won't be happy with that.

Venris tries to escape but ownage is in control.
Venris is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked ownage off and has taken his back!

ownage is working to tighten is grip on Venris's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Venris has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but ownage is really squeezing tight and eventually Venris passes out! ownage breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
