Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Vance Johnson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Saenchai Sor Kingstar!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Daniel Blasius and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kingstar slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Johnson throws out a powerful jab.
Johnson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Kingstar as he avoids it easily.
Kingstar leaves Johnson with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Kingstar takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Johnson tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Kingstar manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Kingstar comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Johnson is breathing heavily.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kingstar lands a big head kick that sends Johnson tumbling to the mat! Kingstar takes a step backwards and waves Johnson back to his feet - he wants the finish!
It looks like Vance Johnson has been cut.
Kingstar tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Johnson slips a jab and a cross from Kingstar.
Kingstar lands a brutal uppercut that launches Johnson off his feet! Johnson tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Saenchai Sor Kingstar!
