Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Denny Chase (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tuberculo Meningitis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Denny Chase has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Denny Chase!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tuberculo Meningitis!
The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chase leaves Meningitis with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Nice sprawl there from Chase as Meningitis shoots in.
Nice straight punches there by Chase. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Chase.
Meningitis shoots in for a takedown but Chase shows good takedown defense.
Denny Chase has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tuberculo Meningitis.
Meningitis looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Meningitis shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Chase sprawls well. Chase wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Meningitis gets slowly back to his feet.

Meningitis feints and as Chase raises his hands in defense, Meningitis changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Chase is looking for a triangle but Meningitis pushes his legs off easily.

Meningitis stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Chase swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Meningitis is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Chase scrambles and gets back to his feet.
No luck for Meningitis with that takedown attempt.
Meningitis looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Meningitis shoots in looking for a takedown but Chase manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Meningitis's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Meningitis looks gassed!

Chase drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Chase avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Chase is looking to stand up but Meningitis won't let him.

Meningitis is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Chase defends well.

Meningitis is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Chase is aware though and is defending well.

Chase avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Chase wants to get up but he can't break Meningitis's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Chase wants to pass the guard but Meningitis is keeping the position.

Meningitis looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Chase passes into side control.

Chase trying to control the action but Meningitis is working from the bottom.

Meningitis manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Chase wants to get back to his feet.
Chase is trying to maintain the position but Meningitis is very close to passing his half guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Meningitis has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Denny Chase will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Chase misses with a body shot.
Chase tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Meningitis manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

and Chase counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Chase scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Meningitis doesn't seem bothered though.

Meningitis circles to his right, straight into a beautiful hook by Chase. Meningitis falls face first into the canvas - great knockout victory for Chase!
