Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pueblo Leaf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Krk Mrd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Pueblo Leaf!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Krk Mrd!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Albert Achterberg and Radbod Blank.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mrd takes the fight into the clinch.
A frustrated look appears on Leaf's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Mrd jumps guard and drags Leaf to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Leaf tries to stand but Mrd is controlling from the bottom.

Mrd is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Leaf is aware though and is defending well.

Mrd has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Leaf can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Leaf avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mrd wants to sweep here but Leaf controlling him for the moment.

Mrd has his foot on Leaf's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Leaf works his way back into a safe position though.

Mrd working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Leaf doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Leaf manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Mrd escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Leaf gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Leaf got a little sloppy there for a moment and Mrd has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Leaf has managed to get both his arms back between Mrd's legs - danger averted.
Leaf sitting in guard here, content to control.
Mrd is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Leaf slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Leaf throwing strikes but missing.

Mrd is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Leaf wants to control from the top but Mrd keeps moving.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Leaf has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Mrd is proving hard to escape from.
Mrd throwing strikes off his back to little effect.

Mrd has his foot on Leaf's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Leaf works his way back into a safe position though.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Mrd looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Mrd looking to hit a scissor sweep but Leaf is one step ahead there.
Leaf pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Mrd is keeping the position for now.

Leaf stands and steps away. Mrd gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
No joy there for Leaf, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Mrd changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Leaf tries to avoid it but Mrd manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Leaf to the ground. Leaf escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Leaf misses with a jab, cross combination.
Mrd tries to clinch but Leaf is having none of it.
Leaf throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Mrd.
Pueblo Leaf is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Leaf stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Leaf wants it to stay on the feet.
Leaf swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Leaf ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Mrd looks gassed!
Leaf throws a front kick aimed at Mrd's knee but Mrd avoids it well.
Leaf dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Leaf throws a series of punches but Mrd moves out of range.
Leaf throws a body punch but Mrd moves out of range.
Mrd closes this distance looking for a takedown but Leaf circles away.
Pueblo Leaf has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Krk Mrd.
Leaf comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Mrd takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Leaf clobbers Mrd with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Pueblo Leaf seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Leaf lands a left and a right that send Mrd crashing to the mat, dazed. Leaf thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Mrd is rocked!

It looks like Krk Mrd has been cut.
Leaf digs a good body shot into Mrd's ribs.
Mrd is still on wobbly legs! Can Leaf finish him?
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Leaf lands with a right and another and another! Mrd is in big trouble! Leaf lands again and this time it's lights out for Mrd! A quality knockout there for Leaf.
