The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zacarias throws a half hearted mid kick.
Dixon slips a jab from Zacarias.
Gilmer Zacarias seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Zacarias stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Zacarias wants it to stay on the feet.
Zacarias swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Dixon misses with a looping right.
Dixon is looking to clinch but Zacarias is avoiding it.
Zacarias throws a lazy right hand but Dixon sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Dixon throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Zacarias.

Dixon throws an overhand right that lands on Zacarias's shoulder, as Zacarias tries to avoid the shot.
Dixon throws a right hand that Zacarias ducks under and follows up with a left that Zacarias also avoids with ease.
Zacarias pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Zacarias throws the left hand but Dixon avoids the punch easily.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
A swing and a miss from Dixon.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Zacarias swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Dixon throws a series of punches but Zacarias avoids them all with ease.
Sloppy strikes from Dixon. Those never looked like landing.
Zacarias throws a looping overhand right but Dixon ducks down to avoid it.
Zacarias lands with a kick to the ribs.
Dixon works over Zacarias's head and body with a nice combination.
Gilmer Zacarias is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Zacarias throws a looping overhand right but Dixon ducks down to avoid it.
Zacarias tries to land a front kick but Dixon steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Dixon tests Zacarias's chin there with a solid looking shot.

It looks like Mason Dixon has been cut.
Zacarias throws a sloppy head kick and Dixon moves out of range easily.
Dixon misses with a body shot.

Zacarias fails in his attempt to clinch.
Zacarias throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Dixon connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Dixon misses with an uppercut. Zacarias saw that one coming.
Zacarias blocks a low kick nicely.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Gilmer Zacarias dominated that round.

That's time! Zacarias's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Dixon tries to land a body kick
enabling Zacarias to counter with a crisp jab.
Dixon ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Zacarias misses with a body shot
and Dixon cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Zacarias ducks right into an uppercut from Dixon.
Dixon shoots in but Zacarias avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Dixon shoots for a double leg takedown but Zacarias sprawls well. He's pushed Dixon's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Zacarias throws a quick inside leg kick.

Dixon throws out a loose jab but Zacarias uses good head movement to avoid it.
Dixon bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Dixon tries to score a power double leg takedown but Zacarias sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Dixon somewhat.
Gilmer Zacarias has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mason Dixon.
Zacarias ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Dixon moves away.
Dixon drops his hands momentarily and Zacarias needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Dixon just on the top of the head. Dixon drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Dixon - he's done!
