Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stavros Drivas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Miguel Gonzales (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Drivas comes to the cage accompanied by Rob Hubbard - Commando. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Gonzales wants to get up but he can't break Drivas's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Drivas swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

The crowd cheers as Drivas lands an impressive looking overhand right. Gonzales doesn't seem phased though.

Drivas fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Gonzales has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

The cut above Miguel Gonzales's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Drivas lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Drivas throws out a powerful jab.

Drivas shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Drivas showed some decent athleticism there.

Drivas is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Gonzales can do to turn this around?
