PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nikola Dragoslav (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gerhard Rihmakallo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dragoslav comes to the cage accompanied by Disturbed - Indestructible. Rihmakallo comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Blood For Blood-Living In Exile kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rihmakallo tries to clinch up but Dragoslav circles away and keeps his distance.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Dragoslav is defended easily by Rihmakallo.
Rihmakallo shoots and misses

and Dragoslav counters with a leg kick then a big left hand that sends Rihmakallo down! Dragoslav is looking to finish but Rihmakallo is intelligently defending himself.

Rihmakallo is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Rihmakallo pulls Dragoslav in close to prevent any damage.
Dragoslav controlling from the top position.
Dragoslav is pushing down on Rihmakallo's leg trying to pass to half guard. Rihmakallo is fighting to maintain full guard but Dragoslav has managed to sneak the leg through.
Rihmakallo trying to hold on to Dragoslav's head to control him but Dragoslav postures up.
Dragoslav wants to control but Rihmakallo is keeping him busy.
Rihmakallo wants to get back to full guard.
Rihmakallo is refusing to be controlled, as Dragoslav sits in half guard.
Dragoslav is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Rihmakallo is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Nikola Dragoslav just wasn't active enough.
Dragoslav fails with the takedown.
Rihmakallo gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Dragoslav counters with a takedown into side control.
Rihmakallo manages to work his way to half guard, despite Dragoslav's best efforts.
Rihmakallo tries to get to full guard but Dragoslav has control of the leg.

Dragoslav decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Rihmakallo tries for a takedown but Dragoslav circles away easily
and Dragoslav counters with a three punch combo that has Rihmakallo backing up. Rihmakallo nods at Dragoslav to acknowledge the strikes.
Nikola Dragoslav has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gerhard Rihmakallo.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Rihmakallo checks a leg kick.
Rihmakallo stuffs the takedown.

Rihmakallo feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Dragoslav wants to stand but Rihmakallo is controlling the position.
Dragoslav avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Rihmakallo throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Rihmakallo throws a strike but Dragoslav rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Dragoslav knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Rihmakallo on the ground.

Rihmakallo looking for a triangle here. Dragoslav is fighting it but it looks tight! Rihmakallo pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Dragoslav is tapping out - this one is all over!
