Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Andrew Slayton!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lamar Lewis!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Daniel Franklin and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lewis lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Slayton circles away quickly and effectively.
Slayton throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Lewis misses with a jab to the body
and Slayton counters with a nice uppercut.
Left hook, right uppercut from Slayton.
Lewis throws a predictable looking body shot
and Slayton cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Lewis is looking to clinch but Slayton is avoiding it.
A looping hook to the body misses from Lewis. Slayton does a little dance to reset his feet.
Slayton looks to land a left hand but Lewis moved out of range nicely.
Lewis throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Slayton misses with a straight right.
Lewis fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Slayton on the side of the head.
Lewis tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Slayton was well out of range. Poor timing from Lewis.
Slayton misses the jab.
Slayton uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Lewis has time to react.
A left lands for Lewis.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Lewis falls off balance throwing a combination
and Slayton counters with a stiff right hand.
Lewis takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Lewis keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Slayton.

Lewis throws out a loose jab but Slayton uses good head movement to avoid it.
Slayton defending well as Lewis loads up on a big left hand.

Slayton moves away from the strike by Lewis.
Lewis wants to clinch.
Lewis misses with a body shot
and Slayton counters with a straight right hand.
Lewis swings away with a body shot that misses
and Slayton counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Lewis misses with a jab to the body
enabling Slayton to counter with a crisp jab.
A shot to the liver by Slayton. Beautiful body shot.
Lewis throws a hook but Slayton blocks it.
Slayton scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Slayton is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Lewis loads up on a big right hand but Slayton slips the punch.
Slayton really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Lewis is rocked!
Slayton grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Lewis takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Slayton cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
