The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

I looks like Silva might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Silva cracks Boy Jr with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Boy Jr tries to hold on but Silva pushes him away.

Silva jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Boy Jr manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Silva is working Boy Jr over with some ground and pound from side control.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Silva scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Boy Jr is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Silva can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
