Meyers comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Iron Man by Ozzy Osborne kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Donny Meyers has the better chin. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Meyers uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Fortuna.
Meyers misses with a few strikes there.

Fortuna gets caught flat footed, as Meyers shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Meyers passes into half guard under a barage of strikes.
Fortuna is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Fortuna trying to hold on to Meyers's head to control him but Meyers postures up.
Meyers lands strikes from half guard.
Fortuna throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Fortuna avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Meyers.
Fortuna is trying to maintain the position but Meyers is very close to passing his half guard.
Meyers lands with a punch from half guard.

Meyers is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Fortuna has managed to free his arm - good work.

Meyers is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Fortuna defends it well.
Meyers not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Fortuna knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Meyers on the ground.
Meyers takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Fortuna is trying to get back to full guard.
Meyers drops an elbow to the side of Fortuna's head.
Meyers thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Fortuna is trying to stand.
Fortuna wants to control but Meyers is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Meyers looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Fortuna is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
