Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Edward Ludczynsky!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Rich Liddell!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Paul Aken and Paulsen Ambrosius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Liddell tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Rich Liddell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Liddell pushes Ludczynsky away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Ludczynsky gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Liddell really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ludczynsky. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Ludczynsky throws a strike aimed at the side of Liddell's head but Liddell avoids it well.

Liddell explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Liddell shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Ludczynsky shoots for a double leg takedown but Liddell sprawls well. He's pushed Ludczynsky's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

We're going to have a standup here because Edward Ludczynsky wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Ludczynsky, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
