Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Max Bear (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Glen Quagmire (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Quagmire has chosen Giggity Song by Glen Quagmire as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Glen Quagmire!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Sam Margolis and Richard Clark.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Bear looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Bear uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Quagmire.
Quagmire moves away from the strike by Bear.
Quagmire tries to clinch but Bear is having none of it.
Bear shoots for a takedown but Quagmire saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Quagmire moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Quagmire lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Quagmire lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Bear gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Quagmire counters with a head kick. That will keep Bear thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Both fighters circling a little - Quagmire finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

Quagmire closes the distance and clinches.

Quagmire is working Bear over against the cage.
Quagmire lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Bear backwards.
Quagmire lands with a light punch inside.
Quagmire is struggling to control the position.
Quagmire has Bear pressed against the cage, preventing Bear from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
A nice right hand lands inside from Quagmire.
Quagmire scores with a shot to the side of Bear's head.
Quagmire is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
A right handed body shot lands from Quagmire.
Bear tries to work over Quagmire's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Quagmire lands a shoulder strike.
Bear wants a takedown but no success here.

Quagmire pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Bear shoots in looking for a takedown. Quagmire tries to sprawl out of it but Bear keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Quagmire manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Max Bear. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bear is breathing heavily.
Quagmire fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Bear manages to avoid it.

Bear takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Quagmire tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Bear gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Bear takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Bear closes the distance but Quagmire moves to the side
and Quagmire counters with a two punch combo.

and Quagmire counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Quagmire closes the distance and clinches.

Quagmire breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Quagmire scores with a decent looking hook.
Quagmire stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Quagmire wants it to stay on the feet.

Bear tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Quagmire swivels and escapes.

Bear tries to keep at a distance but Quagmire has taken the fight into the clinch.

Quagmire breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
A jab lands there for Quagmire.
Quagmire connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Bear tumbling to the canvas! Quagmire pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Bear was done - good stoppage!
