Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kenshii Tanamoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Micky Elder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tanamoto comes to the cage accompanied by Slipknot - Wait and Bleed. Elder is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Metallica - Enter Sandman. Kenshii Tanamoto has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tanamoto misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Tanamoto fails with an attempt to clinch.
Tanamoto shoots in but no luck this time.
Tanamoto fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kenshii Tanamoto. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Tanamoto bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Tanamoto misses with a takedown attempt - Elder sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Elder shoots in and bounces Tanamoto off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Elder makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Elder postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Elder tries to free his leg and advance position but Tanamoto is retaining full guard.

Elder stands up and waves to Tanamoto to follow him.

Tanamoto gets caught flat footed, as Elder shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Tanamoto is breathing heavily.

Elder gets to his feet - Tanamoto follows without any prompting.

Tanamoto fails in his attempt to clinch.
Tanamoto moves in looking to clinch but Elder pushes him off.
Tanamoto displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Elder throws out the jab.
Elder connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Tanamoto tumbling to the canvas! Elder pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Tanamoto was done - good stoppage!
