Struve has chosen Celldweller - Switchback as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Joel Abadi has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Abadi throws a shot to the body.

Struve checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Abadi pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Abadi comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Abadi swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Abadi looks to land a right hand but Struve moved out of range.
Abadi throws a half hearted mid kick.
Struve blocks a head kick by Abadi.

Abadi throws a one two combo.
Abadi takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Abadi lands a nice hook to Struve's body. Struve takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Struve looks gassed!
Struve throws a body punch but Abadi moves out of range.
Abadi throws a looping overhand right but Struve ducks down to avoid it.
Abadi throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Abadi throws a lazy right hand but Struve sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Struve avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Abadi throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Struve.

Struve is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Abadi lands a brutal uppercut that launches Struve off his feet! Struve tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!
