The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lilke avoids the head kick by Kazekage.
Kazekage shoots in for a double leg but Lilke sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Nice takedown defense from Lilke. No joy for Kazekage on that attempt.
Kazekage has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Kazekage there as he acknowledges the shot.
Lilke throws out a powerful jab.
Kazekage walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Kazekage has taken the fight to the clinch.
Kazekage tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Lilke smiles and moves away.
Steven Lilke has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gaara Kazekage.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Lilke. Kazekage shrugs it off though.
Lilke lands a jab to Kazekage's midsection.
Lilke changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Kazekage on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kazekage shoots in looking for a takedown but Lilke manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Kazekage's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Lilke tries to work over Kazekage's front leg with a kick but Kazekage checks it.
Lilke connects with a body shot.
Kazekage looks gassed!
Lilke stuffs the takedown attempt from Kazekage. Kazekage gets slowly back to his feet.
Kazekage takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Kazekage wants to clinch up but Lilke keeps it at a distance.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kazekage closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Lilke scores with the left hand. Kazekage knows he should have avoided that one.
A left and a right from Lilke both land. Nice combination.
Lilke cracks Kazekage with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
An inside leg kick lands from Lilke.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Lilke, right into the meat.
Lilke lands the left hand.
Lilke scores to the head and body with a nice combination!

Kazekage is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kazekage takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Kazekage is still on wobbly legs! Can Lilke finish him?
Kazekage is trying desperately to land a takedown but Lilke is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Kazekage.
Lilke lands a brutal head kick. Kazekage looks out on his feet and Lilke throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
