PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Fusion Weapon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jigoro Samura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Weapon comes to the cage accompanied by Run This Town Tonight. Samura is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Limp Bizkit-Rollin . Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jigoro Samura!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Samura misses.
Samura pulls out of a head kick attempt.
No joy there for Weapon, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Samura throws a head kick but Weapon moves out of range.
Weapon looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Weapon throws a right hand that Samura ducks under and follows up with a left that Samura also avoids with ease.
Samura slips a jab and a cross from Weapon.
Weapon scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Samura will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
A slapping leg kick lands for Weapon.
Some bone on bone action there as Weapon checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Weapon shoots in and bounces Samura off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Weapon trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Samura really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Weapon. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Weapon passes into half guard.

Weapon is trying for a kimura here. Samura looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Weapon wins by kimura!
