Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Gustav Gustafsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roman Christos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gustafsson comes to the cage accompanied by Dark Tranquility - The Final Resistance. Christos has chosen Hell's Ditch as his entrance music. Roman Christos struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 136.8lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Roman Christos told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Christos throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Christos shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Gustafsson as he avoids it easily.
Gustafsson lands with an uppercut that bounces Christos off the cage and back into rage.

Gustafsson shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Gustafsson is looking to stand up but Christos won't let him.

Gustafsson gets to his feet - Christos follows without any prompting.
Christos misses with a takedown attempt

and Gustafsson counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Gustafsson.

Christos is working an open guard so Gustafsson takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

and Gustafsson counters with a series of strikes. Christos will be more careful next time no doubt.

Gustafsson connects with a left and a right that sees a clearly hurt Christos covering up! Gustafsson comes in with a big uppercut and Christos goes doooown! He's slumped up against the cage, eyes staring blankly into space.
