Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ben Barnham (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Feodoro Contadino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Skip Squint and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Contadino takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Contadino has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Barnham throws a good cross that connects.
Barnham's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Barnham duly obliges.
It looks like Feodoro Contadino has been cut.
Barnham lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Barnham scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Barnham throws a right hand that Contadino ducks under and follows up with a left that Contadino also avoids with ease.

Barnham is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Contadino tries to score a power double leg takedown but Barnham sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Contadino somewhat.

Contadino takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Contadino tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Barnham swivels and escapes.
Ben Barnham has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Feodoro Contadino.
Barnham scores with a jab to the jaw.

Barnham thuds his right hand into Contadino's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Barnham bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Contadino's head.
Contadino shoots for a takedown but Barnham saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Barnham cracks Contadino with a good jab.
Contadino shoots in looking for a takedown. Barnham tries to sprawl out of it but Contadino keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Barnham manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Barnham is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.

No joy there for Barnham, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Contadino shoots in but Barnham avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Contadino needs to keep his hands up - Barnham had a free shot at his head there.

Contadino looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Barnham is fending him off so far but Contadino persists. Nope, Barnham circles away and we're back to standing.

That has opened up Feodoro Contadino's cut even more.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Barnham cracks Contadino with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Contadino is trying desperately to land a takedown but Barnham is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Contadino.

Contadino's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Barnham connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Contadino scrambles back to his feet.
Barnham sizes up Contadino with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Barnham is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
The cut above Feodoro Contadino's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Barnham lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Barnham connects with a good right hand that stumbles Contadino. Contadino circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Feodoro Contadino's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Contadino takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Barnham lunges at Contadino with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Contadino's hand.
Barnham feints with a jab and clips Contadino right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Contadino is sent crashing into the canvas and Barnham leaps in for the kill! Contadino tries to get to his feet but Barnham is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Contadino is in need of a savior and steps in!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ben Barnham!
