Melartin comes to the cage accompanied by Pennywise- Homesick . Marcheweka has chosen Skinnyman-Static-X as his entrance music. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Melartin lands with an uppercut that bounces Marcheweka off the cage and back into rage.
Melartin ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Melartin, as that shot connected.
Melartin comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Melartin lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Marcheweka takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Marcheweka moves forwards but Melartin connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Nice uppercut lands for Melartin. That snapped Marcheweka's head back.
Melartin throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Marcheweka shoots in but Melartin avoids the takedown attempt easily.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Marcheweka is defended easily by Melartin.
Marcheweka tries to move into range but Melartin moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Marcheweka has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Melartin lands with an overhand left.
Melartin scores with a sloppy right hand. Marcheweka should have avoided that one.

Melartin dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Melartin sizes up Marcheweka with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Marcheweka takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Melartin tests Marcheweka's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Melartin thuds his right hand into Marcheweka's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Marcheweka takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Melartin connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Melartin slaps away a takedown attempt from Marcheweka, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Rafael Melartin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Michal Marcheweka.

Marcheweka feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Melartin pushes Marcheweka off and gets back to his feet.
Marcheweka takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Marcheweka fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Melartin uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Marcheweka has time to react.

Marcheweka takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Melartin works Marcheweka's body with a nice hook.
Marcheweka takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Melartin throws a combination. Marcheweka tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Marcheweka ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Melartin misses with a hook. Marcheweka ducked under it nicely.
Melartin is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.

Marcheweka seems to have recovered his senses.
Melartin smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Marcheweka has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye.
Melartin lands a nice hook to Marcheweka's body. Marcheweka takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Marcheweka walks straight into a right hand from Melartin - that's dropped him! Melartin jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Marcheweka from any more punishment! Marcheweka complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
